| Notes | Brookhouse Farm (Hungry Hourse) – Just off roundabout: SU 107 853 (Tewkesbury Way & Eastleze, I think, but please don’t quote me). July 7th & 8th the Royal International Air Tattoo takes place at Fairford. Roads will be coned off, traffic heavy, and some diversions will be in place manned by police. I’d recommend avoiding the A419 if at all possible although it’s usually busy early morning (6:00-11:00) and late evening (17:00-20:00). In other words, I expect it’ll be clear of traffic for the start and duration of the event. For those of you approaching via J15 M4, in the past the police have put filter lanes on the A419 although towards Cricklade, so I hope you’ll be okay getting to the start given you’ll not be heading that far. From the North, I’ve no idea I’m afraid, but roads around the airfield will be subject to closure. We should be okay, but please take note all the same. |
